Gayatri Mata is considered the mother of all four Vedas. Performing this Jaap brings the blessings of the Sun, eradicates the sins of past life, helps to get rid of pitru dosh, enlightens and enables a person to possess divine qualities and success in life.

Gayatri Mantra was written by Maharishi Vishvamitra and taken from the Rig Veda, the oldest of Vedic scriptures. Gayatri is the essence of all four Vedas. Gayatri Devi or Goddess Gayatri is depicted with five faces and ten hands seated on a red lotus flower. Performing this Jaap helps to get rid of Pitru dosh, it also increases the Brahama tej in the person. Any problems related to bad planets will get rid of from a person by performing this Jaap.

Gayatri Jaap is performed by panditji, starting with Gauri Ganesh puja, Kalash Navgraha Puja, and the Jaap is chanted. In the end, a havan is performed.
